The fantasy element of Crimson Vixen is wonderfully enchanting! Ms. Carey writes with eloquence and her story enthralls.

The down to earth goodness of the two main characters (Leigh and Kit) is refreshing at a time when many authors are trying to solve the world's evils through their writing. I especially liked the part of Aaron who seems to be the only one who can reach past the determination of headstrong Kit to get the job done. The Crimson Vixen is a masterful rendition of the legend of Arthur. Having read most of Dee Carey’s fox tales, it’s hard to pick a favorite, but this heart-warming book is one of her best. Suitable for all ages, it can be read and reread. Yes, it’s that good.
